“Wonderfully Well ”
Its early morning and I'm waking from my sleep
Just got to find a way to get up on my feet
Don't know what happened but I must have gone deep
Out on a mission last night to break the peace.
There may have been a girl, I think the girl could tell
That I was nervous like a cat that wore a bell
She got down on hands and knees her grin it cast a spell
Man it worked for me wonderfully well.

Never seems to work out as it first appears
First there's lots of laughing and then there's lots of tears
Hanging like the crystal upon a chandelier
Never-ending like a midnight clear.
Now I'm not doing too much, cause there's not too much to do
Rub at the minutes like scuffing up my shoe
Drop another hour flipping through the tube
I'm not doing much 'cause there's not too much to do.
You've got to walk like light and haul that ball and chain
You've got to crack the ice and burn inside your brain
You've got to run that seam and push those bulls away
You've got to wonder well.
