Tobermory (2000)

“Tinder in Pines”

Put in check by some average earl
Dive the wreck and pocket the pearl
Heavy blow so my boat’s up the beach
And I’m looking for tinder in pines.

Shunt my truck in your marvelous weeds
Hope your sonnets are right on the bead
Down below my boat’s up the beach
And I’m looking for tinder in pines.

The mind dines on soothing improvements
In time you cure the disease
And it’s fine fine fine
The fleece leasing need
Lined midst lobster and tweed.

Tuck my rock deep left if you please
I hope your grommets hold in the breeze
Rightly so my boat’s up the beach
And I’m looking for tinder in pines.

The mind dines on soothing improvements
In time you cure the disease
And it’s fine fine fine
The fleece leasing need
Lined midst lobster and tweed.

(Brother Nunzi)
